Type 7 - Open Steady Rest
The open steady rest 7/1 shown below is used on a 2 Revolver Okuma Machine. It is suitable for small batches and can be put into operation within a few minutes. The clamping range of this steady extends up to Ø 100 mm. Currently, some customers are using this steady type for the small-lot production up to a range of Ø 70 mm.
